a)
Apply the oil directly to the shredder cutter in a left and right movement.
Press the reverse button and hold it there for 10seconds.
Shred one piece of paper to remove access oil
* Make sure Bin is empty

Using Paper apply the oil to the paper in a zigzag pattern.
Shred the oil-covered paper by running it through the machine.
As the paper gets shredded the oil will coat the blades, which then redistribute the oil.
This keeps the shredder operating smoothly.
